Course Description

The American Heart Association is making workplaces across the country safer for employees, vendors, and customers. Training in first aid, CPR, and the use of automated external defibrillators (AED) is making a difference. The American Heart Association First Aid and CPR certifications are both good for 2 years from the date of the class. This makes it much easier for your company to track training. Our classes run from 4 to 5 1/2 hours depending on the size of the class. We try to keep class sizes to 15 or less participants. Our open enrollment classes are 65.00 per student. If you need to schedule an off-site training please call and we will work with you on dates, times, and pricing.

Course Outline

In the first part of the class we will cover:

• First aid basics
• Medical emergencies
• Injury emergencies
• Environmental emergencies

The second part of the class will cover:

• Adult/Child CPR
• Adult/Child AED
